Lonnie Johnson DC, Laurelhurst Chiropractic

Lonnie Johnson DC is a treating physician at Laurelhurst Chiropractic, in Portland, Oregon. He has received post graduate education in Rehabilitation of the Spine and Sports Medicine and has been company doctor for numerous professional dance companies. He lectures locally on functional treatment of back pain.

Before becoming a Chiropractor, Dr. Johnson worked as a commercial fisherman and in construction. When his martial arts training partner's lower back was injured, he was unable to find relief until he visited a Chiropractor. That experience led both Johnson and his partner to attend 4-year Chiropractic schools and become doctors.

Dr. Johnson enjoys cycling, dance and spending time with his partner, Dr. Lisa Kaskan, and their children.

David Murphy, MD

David Murphy, MD is a Board Certified Occupational Medicine physician who has  practiced in Portland since 1974. His clinical experience has focused on acute care and rehabilitation of injured workers as well as injury and disability prevention.

Dr. Murphy grew up in Texas and is a graduate of Tulane University and the University of Texas Medical Branch.

He and his wife, Gail, and their three daughters are outdoor enthusiasts and also enjoy traveling together.
